Running and Walking Workout Schedules & Locations

Tuesdays: Walkers and walk-runners start at 5:30pm, runners start at 6:00pm from the Glenn A. Hare Center’s west parking lot in Reno, NV (at the corner of Hunter Lake and Foster Drive)

Wednesdays: 6:00pm, and location announced via the calendar or weekly email. [Advanced Training—Tempo/Fartlek/Intervals]

Saturdays: 7:00am at Eclipse Running Store, in the Moana West Shopping Center, at 3434 Lakeside Drive, Reno, NV (Northeast corner of Lakeside and Moana)

Triathlon and Century Road Biking Training

NSET Grants and Fundraising

NIAA regional and statewide cross country championships

Northern Sierra Endurance Training’s President Jim Harvey and Board Member Jennifer Rains present a $5,000 check to Bart Thompson, the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association Executive Director. NSET continues to support and underwrite high school and collegiate track and field events annually. The 2015 NIAA regional and statewide cross country championships were held at Rancho San Rafael in Reno.

  • Workout course directions for every Tuesday and Saturday.
  • Aid stations for workouts over 10 miles or as conditions warrant.
